Gman Blues with David Keeney: Gman's Links
Friends...
- Acoustic Alternatives
- Lots of fun!
- Acoustic Thing
- Good friends, good band. They know lots of songs. (Shhhh don't tell anyone, but Connie is my sister in law). South siders come out and see them rock!
- American English
- Come out and see my good friend Kenny perform. If you love the Beatles, you will love this band. Until I heard them I really thought that it was impossible for the Beatles to perform their later albums. I've seen them several times, and it's very exciting up in front of the stage (if you can make your way up there).
For an encore once they did "Live and let die" and during the orchestra parts, Kenny was literally a blur! But the best without a doubt is when they play "A Day In the Life" Ken makes them wait like ravenous wolves for that last chord--and there is a tension--a demanding anticipation in the air that can't be denied. Then he throws it out there like a chunk of meat which they devour with great excitement. - Christel
- Rocking woman from Winnipeg. If you're ever up that way tell her that g-man sez hey!
- Cipherdom by Vernam Cipher
- Vernam hosts the Ballydoyle open mic on Wednesdays. He is a great performer and an all-round good guy. Great band; good times!
- Crossfyre
- Jim Williams has been playing with these guys forever. Jim is an outstanding musician, and singer. He and I had lots of laughs in Woodlind. He was a bad influence on me--or was it I was a bad influence on him? I can't remember!
- Dogbite Music
- Home to some of the best acoustic, alternative songs on the web ! On this web page you'll find free MP3 music downloads of songs in progress, and songs completed some time in the past.
- Fun House
- I know Ed the drummer; story goes like this... when Ed was a little boy he told his mother "I want to be a drummer when I grow up!"
His mother said "Ed you can't do both."
Ed's a great drummer, and his collection technical gadgets is extensive. Ladies you will be impressed. - Heartsfield
- I love this music. They have so much energy when they play!
Scotty became a grandpa last summer, so come out and support the band so he has some dough to spoil his grandson! - Kimi Hayes
- Kimi has an amazingly wonderful voice, and can kick ass on guitar. The band is a lot of fun.
- The King Stiffs
- Rockin' Band from Denmark. If you ever go over there tell Steen that g-man says Hi!
- Nancy Apple
- Nancy Apple (aka. the Cadillac Cowgirl) is a local Memphis Star. I got the chance to jam with her on Beale St. this summer. I'll always remember that!
